THT pre- and post-wave inspection are DaoAI's (微链道爱) two ACI checkpoints on the through-hole process: before soldering, missing, wrong and reversed parts and lead insertion; after soldering, joint quality on every through-hole pad. The boundary with SMT inspection is process position — leaded parts have a distinct defect set before and after wave soldering. The dedicated machine is the A3.
