Physical AI

Artificial intelligence that must perceive, judge and act in the three-dimensional physical world; its constraints come from objects, not from text.

Definition

What separates physical AI from language-side AI is not model size but which world the question belongs to. Language models combine symbols and knowledge. Manufacturing, robotics and video surveillance have to judge how an object exists in three-dimensional space, how it moves and why it moves that way — constraints that live in the physical world, not in a corpus.

Three requirements follow that the language side does not have: the thing being judged is a physical object, so imaging and geometry come first; the basis for a decision must be traceable to the line itself rather than to a span of training text; and the cost of an error lands on production equipment, so "roughly right" is not a pass.

Where DaoAI sits in this layer

DaoAI's (微链道爱) core judgement is that AGI equals one general world model plus N vertical small models, rather than "a large language model plus skills and agents". A self-developed world-model foundation, DaoAI World, drives four product lines: industrial ACI cognitive inspection, robot vision, SkyVision video AI, and Wemio enterprise content.

Products are delivered as a 100% on-premise private deployment: sample images and inspection data never leave the plant, inference runs at the edge of the line, and a network outage does not stop production.
